On Friday 3 and 4 May 2023 the Toledo City Council is organising a new edition of its “Noches Toledanas”, in collaboration with various groups, museums and associations.
In two nights up to fifty workshops, exhibitions, concerts, exhibitions, dance performances, monologues, parades… Read on and we’ll tell you all about it.
The activities begin on Friday night with the programme “De Plaza en Plaza” with live music concerts in five public spaces in the Historical Quarter, as well as other proposals such as the rhythmic gymnastics or Spanish dance shows that will take place in the Plaza de Zocodover.
The program continues on Saturday, from first thing in the morning, with more music from square to square, guided tours, children’s workshops, outdoor exhibitions, gastronomic events and a long list of other activities, including the young people’s space that will be located in the Miradero, “thus making a special reference to sports culture”, and the university theatre show that for the first time will be hosted by the San Marcos Culturel Centre.
The common denominator for the activities is that they are free, and in numerous spaces, monuments and museums of the city (essentially in the old town), as well as streets and squares.

4. Arco de la Sangre (Statue of Cervantes) 21:00 h.: Artistic Calligraphy. PACO DEL POZO GARCÍA. Toledeando By the hand of Yolanda Redondo and in collaboration with the Culturerte Association, we propose a route through the streets of Toledo to the encounter of 9 paintings painted in oil on wood. The pictorial motif are the alleys themselves. They can see, within a narrow cobblestone frame, the effect of the passage of time and the beautiful imperfections that give texture to the images on display.
