Nereydas Baroque Orchestra will offer a very thoughtful repertoire to reach the hearts of music lovers and people who live deeply the religious spirit of these holy days. The various scenes of the Passion are felt in each note. The concert culminates with the Stabat Mater, by Pergolesi, perhaps the most beautiful composition to make the feeling of the Blessed Mother at the foot of the cross. In addition to the excellence of Nereydas, the concert has the attraction of presenting countertenor Filippo Mineccia, one of the most prestigious and award-winning baroque lyric singers, and soprano Elisandra Melián.
