More than 17,000 young people will spend these days in various cities of Castilla-La Mancha, including Toledo, on the occasion of the “World Youth Days “with many activities planned in Toledo as detailed below.
The City Council has planned special traffic plans for the arrival of thousands of young people in Toledo. In their Web they inform punctually of the incidences.
The Archdiocese of Toledo has organized the following events:

MONDAY, AUGUST 15

11:00 h. Holy Mass on the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, from the Primate Cathedral, and procession with the image of Our Lady of the Tabernacle through the naves of the temple, presided over by the Archbishop of Toledo and Primate of Spain, Mr. Braulio Rodriguez Plaza.
WYD 2011: DAYS IN THE DIOCESIS
FRIDAY, AUGUST 12
-At 21:00 h., Via Crucis from Toledo with the young participants in the Days of the Dioceses.
MONDAY, AUGUST 15
-At 8:00 p.m. Holy Mass to close the “Days in the Dioceses”, from the esplanade of the Puerta de Bisagra, in Toledo, presided over by the Archbishop and concelebrated by the bishops and priests accompanying the pilgrims.
-At 22:00 h. Closing Festival of the “Days in the Dioceses”.

Photographic exhibitions:
- The exhibition “Our Corpus” is made up of photographs by José Ramón Márquez and Óscar Huertas, as well as collections from the Municipal Archive. It can be seen from 11:00 to 14:00 from 18:00 to 21:00 in the Exhibition Hall of the Archbishopric (Calle Trinidad) until 17 August.
- ” Penitentes”, collects, in the Posada de la Hermandad, the photographic work of Pepe Castro and texts by Félix del Valle about Holy Week (from 11:00 hours to 14:00 hours until 17 August).
Exhibition on the Holy Week Brotherhoods and the Mozarabic Rite: In the Parish of Santa Justa and Rufina of Toledo there is an Exhibition on the Holy Week Brotherhoods and the Mozarabic Rite. Open afternoons from 18 to 20 h. And from August 11, open morning and afternoon. (See exhibition poster)
