Next Wednesday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. the Concert “Primavera: del Nuevo al Viejo Mundo” of the Choir and Ensemble WESTERN RESERVE ACADEMY CHOIR AND ENSEMBLE will take place in the Church of San Pedro Mártir in the city of Toledo. Entrance to the concert is free of charge.
The concert will include sacred choral works by composers such as Victoria, Busto, Biebl, Feliciano, Mozart… as well as Jazz, Gospel, and spiritual.
The Western Reserve Academy Choir and Ensemble will be touring Spain and Portugal in March 2012. In this tour organized by Incantato, it will also offer performances in Seville, Huelva and Lisbon, as well as an Exchange and Joint Concert with the Orchestra of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Cordoba.
This group, led by Director Margaret Karam and Director Edward Wiles, is composed of 20 musicians and singers, students of the Music Program of the Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio (USA).
On this tour the Choir is made up of 15 voices, accompanied by the piano and a string ensemble of violins and violas.
