The City Council will offer five free guided tours to the Cathedral this Friday

The City Council of Toledo informs that, in collaboration with the Regional Association of Tourist Guides and the Cabildo of the Primada Cathedral, they have organized for this Friday a total of four guided and free routes dedicated to this monument of the Castilian-La Mancha capital, on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Tourist Guides, which can be aimed at around 200 people in different groups.

The routes will take place this Friday, one at 11:00 and the other three at 17:00. They will be led by professional guides and will last around an hour and a half, and will show the history and heritage of the Primate Cathedral of Toledo, focusing on the Cathedral Treasure and its goldsmithing.

People interested in participating in these routes should reserve a seat from today on the phone 925 25 40 30 of the Municipal Tourist Board of Toledo City Council or in person by approaching the offices of the same located in the little arches of the Town Hall.

The Councillor for Tourism, Milagros Tolón, thanked the collaboration of the Cabildo de la Catedral Primada to make possible these routes that, he said, will allow toledanos and visitors to know a little more about this important temple and monument of Toledo.

Toulon recalled that the Consistory of Toledo already last year made other guided routes and free to commemorate the International Day of the Tourist Guide and said that will continue to increase the supply of routes of this type during the spring, in order to attract more visitors and “consolidate overnight stays in the capital Castilian-La Mancha.
