The interior of Toledo Cathedral, as never before recorded: with a Drone

This month (March 2016) it’s been a year since we recorded and published this very special video of the Cathedral. We remember it and enlarge it with the “how it was done” video.

For the first time in almost 800 years a man-made artifice has “flown “inside the most important Cathedral in Spain. Fran Fernández (Edition), Toledospain (Photography), José Antonio Vela (Drone), Andrés Tejero (music) and Juan Luis Alonso (Coordination), thanks to the collaboration of various entities ( S.I. Primate Cathedral of Toledo and Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports ) have managed to make one of the most incredible videos ever made about this Cathedral.

The video has been created for the promotion of the concert that next March 28, 2015, on the occasion of the celebrations for the IV centenary of the publication of the II part of Don Quixote, will be offered in the Cathedral of Toledo.

The Royal Theatre Orchestra and Choir, conducted by Hartmut Haenchen, will perform Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.
