Program Fair and Fiestas Virgen del Sagrario in Toledo 2023, to be held from 14 to 20 August. The festivities will begin at 20 hours on Tuesday 14 August with the opening ceremony of the Festivals in the Town Hall square for which will be counted this year with the association Apandapt.

They will start on August 14 with the opening ceremony in the Town Hall square for which this year will be counted with the association Apandapt.
Then, the parade of Giants, Gigantones and Cabezudos will depart to Merchán promenade and at 21:30 there will be a free lemonade tasting in the Weapons Courtyard of the Hinge Gate.
Meanwhile, at 22:00 hours, will proceed to inaugurate the Fairgrounds of ‘La Peraleda’, which as has been specified by the councilor of Festejos, will host most of the proposals of the program, along with two other spaces such as the Town Hall square and the Paseo de la Vega.
After the gunpowder, at 23:00 hours, will take place “one of the few free concerts” offered by La Casa Azul this year. The indie-pop group, head of the main indie music festivals in the country, will stop in the regional capital with its mythical themes ‘The sexual revolution’ or ‘Could be worse’. The opening act will be the Toledan band ‘sabías a lo que venías’ (You knew what you were coming to).

On the 15th, the feast day of the Patron Saint of Toledo, the Virgin of the Tabernacle, the Cathedral will host the religious acts – at 11:00 a.m. it will be the pontifical mass -, in whose cloister it will be possible to drink the Virgin’s water in the typical botijos. In the evening, two more musical proposals, Tribute to Raphael and Julio Iglesias in the Town Hall Square and Modestia Aparte in La Peraleda, a concert to commemorate their 30 years of career that will be followed by a pop party with successes from the 90’s.

The butterfly effect festivities will also be performed on the 16th at the fairgrounds, and on the 17th there will be an orchestra from 00:00 hours onwards. That same day, the Symphonic Band ‘Ciudad de Toledo’ will offer a concert in the Town Hall square from 22:00 hours. Also, one more year in this location, but on Friday 16, you can enjoy the fashion show of Toledo designer Jose Sanchez that on this occasion, “will pay tribute to the fair, it is a custom parade,” explained Maria Teresa Puig.

Wednesday, August 14:
20:00 h: Inaugural ceremony of the August 2023 Festivities by the municipal corporation, accompanied by the association APANDAPT.

07:00 h: Festivity of Our Lady of the Tabernacle, Patron Saint of Toledo. Every hour the Holy Mass will be celebrated in front of the image of the Virgin. In the cloister you will be able to drink the water of the Virgin, in the typical botijos.
11:00 h: Pontifical Mass, presided by Mr. Braulio Rodríguez Plaza, Archbishop of Toledo and Primate of Spain. After Mass, procession with the image of the Virgin of the Tabernacle through the Primate Temple.
22:00 h: LUIS MUÑOZ. “Tribute to Raphael and Julio Iglesias”.
