It’s not easy to be a tourist in Toledo. For this reason some years ago we proposed this website, which emerged as a corner in which to show the hundreds of legends that the city preserves on a web, add tourist information about the city, showing Toledo as we like to be told by other historical cities when we travel.
It’s not easy. Toledo, despite being a relatively small city, has a small old town but very dense in monuments. More than 100 museums and monuments populate the narrow and labyrinthine streets. Even the best GPS’s are sometimes unable to reach some corners and not a single map or street plan shows all the streets of the old town in their entirety.
There are also numerous corners, alleys, monuments that open up occasionally, the “Unknown Heritage”, traditions, legends…, that only a few people know in depth.
